Engineering for a Competitive Advantage
Nautitech initially built its reputation on Ex d certified flameproof solutions, and in 2016 we expanded our offering to Intrinsically Safe modular products including controllers (PLC), power supply modules (UPS,PSM), light interface modules (LIM), intelligent sensors, lights, and methane safety systems. All Nautitech systems and technologies are IECEx and ATEX certified to be safe in Group I/IIB, Zone 0 and Zone 1. We will continue to expand on our I.S range in the future as it delivers outstanding advantages and significant cost savings to the industry. Learn more »
One of the biggest challenges underground is communication between sites and the surface. Underground sites will continue to have fewer people and higher automation to minimise the danger to humans and maximise productivity. As such, it’s important to have reliable communication and visibility of events in potentially hazardous areas. Nautitech’s UIoT philosophy ensures that our products are embedded with connectivity that can assist with automation, reliable communication, remote visibility, improved productivity, and a safer environment. Nautitech’s HD and Thermal cameras make critical decision-making possible in hazardous areas. Using UIoT (Underground Internet of Things) connectivity, our IP enabled cameras make it easy to monitor and record video from the surface or anywhere on the mine site. Our Thermal Extremecam is capable of detecting heat, allowing for a clearer display of people, machines, cables, and other relatively warm objects – making it particularly useful in areas with impaired visibility due to fog, dust, or darkness.
