Slip rings no barrier to speed and quality of data from shuttle cars

Slip rings on shuttle cars are no barrier to the speed and quality of data transmission between the shuttle car and DCB.

The Nautitech team recently installed yet another Spitfire® BPLM, proven to transmit Ethernet data at 28 Mbit/sec through the shuttle car slip rings and 275 metres of trailing cable – exceeding the requirements for transmission of video and operating parameters to the DCB.
