The CUBEx PS12 Intrinsically Safe Universal power supply offers 9 outputs capable of delivering up to 2.5 Amps per output. Unlike other power supplies on the market with only ONE output, the 12-volt PS12 provides up to 120W of combined IS power to multiple universally compatible IS devices.
A key advantage of the PS12 is that it can be externally mounted – freeing up real estate and minimising the internal temperature of a flameproof enclosure. And with space at a premium in underground mining, the ability to maximise capacity of a flameproof enclosure is priceless.
A single PS12 can replace up to FOUR Intrinsically Safe power supplies currently on the market and its universal compatibility means it can power up IS certified devices such as IS Cameras, IS Lights, IS Wireless Access Nodes, IS Logic Controllers, IS Ethernet Switches as well as IS Sensors and Alarms.
The PS12 IS Power Supply is IECEX certified, programmable via Bluetooth, and provides a total combined 120W of IS power over 9 controllable 2.5 Amp outputs.
It’s constructed using enhanced versions of the power supply module and light interface module from the highly successful CUBEx IS lighting system which has a strong track record in mines across the country.
